Our national partners, Richard and Verena and their 4 children, are working with other brothers and sisters in Christ in a ministry focused on reaching Muslims, animists and marginalized groups in Tanzania. From 2009-2019, Richard and his wife dedicated most of their time to reach the Maasai. The movement grew and there were more than 350 house churches planted throughout 20 Maasai villages and more than 50 leaders trained.

In 2021, Richard and Verena and their children relocated to an impoverished and unreached Islamic area to engage the community with the Gospel. Richard and Verena are passionate about making disciples and spend some of their time training Christians in other parts of the country how to make disciples. They are also founding board members of Angaza Ministries, a new Tanzanian mission organization focused on reaching the Unreached in Tanzania and beyond.

Abide Ministries is seeking to raise enough money to cover their children’s school fees at a good Christian school, as well as their family’s medical insurance. Unless specified, 100% of your donation will go towards these needs to help Richard and Verena continue their vital ministry.
